They cover what to expect during freefall, how your parachute ride will feel, and the smooth landing process. The Leap of a Lifetime: Freefall and Flight
Then, the door opens. The rush of air, the expansive blue – it’s an exhilarating moment. Together with your instructor, you step out. For the next 30-40 seconds, you’ll experience the pure, unadulterated joy of freefall. It’s not a stomach-lurching drop; it’s a feeling of incredible buoyancy, as if you’re floating on a cushion of air.
